What is the Healthy Youth, Healthy Futures Project?

          

The HYHF Program is a youth and young adult empowerment program which emphasizes health literacy, health care and self-esteem enhancement primarily for African American youth and adults who reside in central Denver, Montbello and Aurora, Colorado. This project addresses the devastating affects of diabetes, obesity, hypertension, asthma and cancer affecting these youth, their families and their communities.
